Success doesn't end the journey.
It changes the questions.
“Helping CEOs and leadership teams create clarity, build alignment and generate momentum”
I'm Guy Longworth.
For more than 30 years, I've worked alongside CEOs and executive teams through periods of growth, transformation and change.
As organizations grow, the questions leaders face become more complex.
The challenge isn't simply finding better answers. It's asking better questions.
That's the thinking behind The Annapurna Way.
Today, I serve as a strategic advisor and executive coach to CEOs and their executive teams.
I combine strategic rigor with thoughtful questioning, practical frameworks and more than 30 years of operating experience to help CEOs and executive teams create clarity, build alignment and generate momentum.
WHY LEADERS CHOOSE ANNAPURNA
Experience
I've spent more than 30 years leading businesses, serving on boards, and advising organizations ranging from venture-backed startups and private equity portfolio companies to family-owned businesses and Fortune 500 companies.
Judgment
Experience doesn't just build knowledge. It builds judgment.
Over more than three decades, I've made high-stakes decisions with incomplete information, led organizations through growth and transformation, and worked alongside boards, founders, investors and executive teams.
Those experiences enable me to bring perspective, sound judgment and practical wisdom when it matters most.
Partnership
The higher you climb, the fewer people there are who will challenge your thinking.
Successful leaders rarely need someone to tell them what to do.
They need someone they trust to challenge their thinking, ask the questions others don't, and help them see what they cannot yet see.
That's the role I play.
Approach
Every engagement is unique.
The philosophy never changes.
Create Clarity. Build Alignment. Generate Momentum.
That's The Annapurna Way.
The Annapurna Way
Every leadership challenge is unique.
But over more than 30 years, I've found that extraordinary business and leadership outcomes follow a remarkably consistent path.
Create Clarity
Everything begins with clarity. Together, we'll define the opportunity, challenge assumptions, simplify complexity, and establish a shared understanding of what matters most.
Build Alignment
Great strategies only succeed when leadership teams are aligned. We'll align your team around a shared vision, clear priorities, sound decisions, and collective accountability.
Drive Momentum
With clarity established and the leadership team aligned, we'll align the broader organization around a shared direction, translate strategy into disciplined execution, and deliver extraordinary business and leadership outcomes.
Supporting The Annapurna Way is a suite of proprietary frameworks, processes, and tools developed over more than three decades of leading businesses, advising CEOs, and coaching executive leadership teams.
Every engagement is tailored to the unique needs of each client, drawing on the right frameworks at the right time to accelerate progress and deliver lasting results.
WHY ANNAPURNA?
Guy at Annapurna Base Camp 13,550 Feet
In 1950, Maurice Herzog and a team of French mountaineers achieved the first successful ascent of Annapurna—the first successful ascent of an 8,000-meter peak. It remains one of history's greatest feats of leadership, teamwork, preparation, courage, and perseverance.
More than forty years later, while trekking to Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal, I was struck by the remarkable parallels between climbing a mountain and leading a business.
Neither is a solo endeavor.
Both require vision, careful preparation, sound judgment, resilience, teamwork, and the courage to make difficult decisions in uncertain conditions.
That experience inspired me to name my firm Annapurna.
Just as experienced mountain guides help climbers choose the right route, navigate unfamiliar terrain, adapt to changing conditions, and reach the summit safely and successfully, I work alongside CEOs and executive leadership teams as a trusted strategic advisor—helping them navigate their most important business and leadership challenges.
Every organization has its own mountain to climb.
My role is to help leaders find the best path to the summit—and achieve what may once have seemed impossible.
